GET A LOAD OF MEAN GREEN AND HER GREEN BEANS
I didn't realize I hadn't written a review for this yet! One day I awoke to Asher Dark's Green Cooter in my inbox, and although it was surly and unruly, I worked very hard to get it to cooperate and open for me? Is that weird? I promise it's normal in the indie horror community. Anyway, to the real review. As always, Dark has this insane way of balancing humor, horror, what we will call SPICE. However, the part I always find most impressive is the way Dark infused these kinds of stories with emotional gut punches that leave me feeling raw. Is this TEETH meets H.P. Lovecraft on steroids, YES. IS it a Troma film put to page, YES. Did it make me feel some hard shit, ALSO YES. What is wrong with this author? I mean that in the best way! (BTW, I BOUGHT THIS AT GODLESS ALREADY EVEN THOUGH I GOT IT FOR FREE, ANNNNNNNDDDDDD, WHEN I DO MY NEXT BADGER HAUL, FUCK IT WHY NOT?)
