  • Short, Brutal and Bloody.

I put this book off for so long for no particular reason, and it ended up being everything you want in a Splatterpunk novella. It is fast, vicious, and strangely beautiful in that way where the gore feels almost poetic. The brutality has this emotional undercurrent that makes the violence feel intentional instead of empty. The body horror goes wild, but it’s tied to obsession, decay, and the way obsession rots everything it touches. The pacing never slows down. Every scene hits hard, and the imagery sticks to you in that “I should not be enjoying this as much as I am” way. The flower motif blooms through the violence in a way that feels symbolic and disgusting at the same time. It’s messy and completely unafraid to go too far. For a novella, it leaves a bigger mark than it has any right to. Splatterpunk fans who like their stories fast and feral, bloody but intentional, and beautifully grotesque will have a good time with this one.

  • Clenching my cooch

I went into this totally blind, and I left it with my stomach churning. This was genuinely one of the goreist things I have ever read, and it's literally 30 pages long. The body horror in this is absolutely vile and if you have a really imaginative mind like I do, you're going to make yourself sick. The craziest part is that our main character is completely calm as she's fully mutilating her body to the point of sensory loss, all to reach a state of perfect minimalism. Trust me on this, don't eat any time around reading this, you might see it again pretty quickly

  • This was horrific, in every good way, possible. It had me wincing from nearly every page...turns out snipping things off really churns my insides up lol. It was extremely well written and incredibly descriptive. I could clearly see every horrendous thing that was happening. My brain needs a reset. I don't really know why she did what she did, as there isn't any real explanation, just her deluded ideas. But Noriko's idea of self-help is definitely not mine!! This is a very short (31 pages), extreme body horror story, and I thought it was utterly brilliant.

  • She’s So Pretty

This was exactly what it promised to be. It takes a whole lot to make me squeamish, and this one delivered. I’m not going to say anything else about it because it would either undersell it or would spoil it. If you’re into extreme horror, body horror, and splatterpunk, this will absolutely be for you. If you are NOT into those things, you betta keep ya distance.

  • Extreme horror - splatter So if you don't like this style don't read it, but if you do what are you waiting for!! Ok well if I had recorded myself reading this you would have a right giggle!! The faces I pulled reading this and the eyes, nope nope nope they weren't even the worst but nope. This was definitely not what I was expecting it to be, but I love going into these not knowing. As that makes the reaction so much more real. But I'm sure if that DVD ever got out I'm hoping people wouldn't follow along. Nothing is worth the pain to cleanse the Eternal Flower Of Your Soul. Such a good quick read for all the Extreme horror/splatter fans. This was a random find for me and so glad I picked it up.
