Phrique writes phoolery, not at all plain & far from simple. For legal reasons, he only writes what the voices tell him to. He willfully abuses alliteration & injects innuendo where it ought not be, with the intent to make the reader giggle, gasp, and gag at his gaiety. He wants you to laugh at things you shouldn’t, so he’s not the only one being stared at.

I absolutely devoured this novella. Phrique has a way with words, and if you have never read one of his books, then start here. Bloody Mary just wanted to spend her afterlife doing her job, but then love got in the way. I laughed out loud at some parts and screamed WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU in others. Trust me, when you meet Sandra, you will understand. This fool has done it again and wrote something that I will be thinking about for months after. It might be a rom-com, but it's a darn BLOODY one! (See what I did there?)
