Our commitment
Bookish Badger is a trading name. In this document “we”, “us” and “our” mean the person or business named as the seller in the Business details of our Terms of sale, Returns, Privacy notice and Contact us pages, trading as Bookish Badger. Those pages give the seller’s name, geographic address and, where they apply, company and VAT details. Every page gives our email addresses. We aim for the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we make reasonable adjustments for disabled customers and members.
What we have done
The Site has a skip link to the main content; links, buttons and form fields are designed to work with a keyboard and to have visible focus; pages use headings and landmarks for screen readers; text can be resized and the layout adapts to small screens; and our policies can be printed or saved from your browser. Our online reader lets you change the font and theme.
What we know does not work well yet
We have not yet had the Site independently audited against WCAG 2.2, so we do not claim that it fully conforms. The accessibility of each EPUB depends on how the file was made, and some may lack image descriptions or navigation. The bot check on some forms may be difficult for some users. If any of these affects you, contact us and we will help another way, for example by taking your order, request or complaint by email.
Asking for help or another format
Email our support address in the Business details, telling us the page, what the difficulty is and what format or adjustment you need. Mention your browser or assistive technology if it helps. Please do not include private links, passwords or unnecessary medical details. We aim to reply within 3 working days.
If you are not happy with our response
Please tell us, using our Complaints policy. If you remain unhappy, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you on your rights under the Equality Act 2010.
