This story certainly does what it set out to do. It is bloody, it is violent, and it is erotic. This is a horror subgenre I've never read before and i have a feeling it often wont be for me. Certainly not splatter and erotic mixed together. However, objectively, i can give it some stars! That being said its well written. Author and editor cane together to create great prose. However, there wasn't enough story here for me. The characters don't change enough its just a moment in time rather than a full story arc. Its so borderline though. I'm just someone that wants a story with her gore and this didn't *quite* do it. If you're looking for an exploration of violent, feminine rage at predatory men with Sapphic erotic themes, this is a book for you. Be aware that there are certainly "deviant" ideas within these pages.
