Marieann Joy Stephen

Specialising in weird girl lit and general dark fiction, Marieann is a sweetie pie with a strange mind. She received an MA in English Literature from the University of Glasgow in 2019, followed by an MLitt in American Modern Literature the year following, and her first novel, A Million Specks of You, was published in 2022. Since then she has written and published two other novels - Knife Story (2024), and Adonis Blue (2025) - as well as one short story collection, Blue Unicorn (2026), and one novella, I'd Rather Be Falling in Love at the Hyperpop Show (2026). Her next novel is coming in 2027. Her interests outside of writing include but are not limited to: underground music, plushies, Monster Energy, and funny orange cats (i.e. Heathcliff and Garfield). Her enemy is Kelloggs. FUCK KELLOGGS.
