Daniel A.K Cork (formerly Danny Welch) is a British author who lives happily with his loving family, three dogs and two cats. You can often find him being very critical of the current political climate, sharing memes or talking about his cats. ‘The Ear Worm’ is his debut satirical horror novella with a touch of the cosmic. He’s currently writing a haunted house novel which he hopes will be completed before the year is out.

    Absolutely Marvellous

I got the pleasure to proof read this book! It was a genuinely fantastic and a terrifying read! Admittedly, i am not one to be able to keep my interest for a long period of time or all that interested in books, however this had me hooked from start to finish! 100% recommend this! Especially if you like revenge and criticism of capitalists.

Summary: Alistair is a wealthy bully who takes his frustrations out on his wife. When she purchases him the one-of-a-kind CD of a song that was only existed in a rumour, he wonders why she is showing such kindness after all the years he has hurt her. As the song grips him, and the ear worm burrows deeper, he will soon realise why... Review: This is a brutal splatterpunk, a short story that will keep you reading until the end. I recommend reading it!
